THE OZONE

Ozone is a gas composed of
three oxygen atoms 03. It occurs naturally in the highest layers of the Earth's atmosphere and is the most powerful natural antioxidant. It is a highly unstable gas and for this reason it must be produced on site using specific generators.

ULTRAZONE Combi / ECLOGIC

Principle of operation

UltraZone Combi UltraZone Combi is a device that releases ozone into the air, sterilizing and sanitizing it without using chemicals.
The most common ozone production method is the one based on the corona discharge: a high voltage electric discharge breaks down the stable molecule O2, producing two oxygen singlets that will bind to other oxygen molecules to form
 ozone (O3)

The ozone (O3) molecules produced oxidize the cell wall (cell lysis) and destroy the membrane. UltraZone Combi is a system that exploits the germicidal function of UV-C rays, sanitizing the air in the presence of people and destroying 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, spores and molds. UltraZone Combi is a system that exploits the unique powers of ozone, combined with the treatment of air with UV-C rays, sanitizing environments in a natural, economic and ecological way.

      UV-C

TECNOLOGY/Ozone + UV-C

UltraZone Combi

UltraZone Combi, with its dual ozone and UV-C light technology (253.7 nm), is a broad-spectrum germicide, indispensable for collective health in shared environments.
UltraZone Combi, can be used in 3 modes:
UV-C mode: continuous air sanitization even in the presence of people using UV-C light. The exchange of air for a room of 20 m2 (height approximately 3 m.) Takes place in just one hour.

O3 mode: Fast and deep sanitization of the rooms, with digital timing, for maximum safety during treatment, With safe-entrance-after-procedure function.

O3 + UV-C mode: with repeated O3 sanitization cycles, assisted by UV-C radiation, for an intense and profound action in the absence of personnel. Recommended at night with safe-entrance-after-procedure function.
It is not recommended to enter the room until the completion of the ozone decay cycle indicated by the timer itself. (see times table)

FAQ

Is ozone harmful?
At high concentrations, ozone, if inhaled, is harmful to human health, therefore, the use in the presence of people is prohibited.
Is it necessary to ventilate before being able to enter the room?
It is not necessary to ventilate if the manufacturer's instructions are followed. The UlltraZone appliance is equipped with a bright LED that signals the various states of the appliance.
If I open the window to ventilate the room, is sanitization canceled?
NO, because ozone (in the form of gas) creeps and impregnates everything that is present in the room (furniture, clothes and any other object) and therefore provides a temporary "barrier effect" against the attack of new germs and agents viral pathogens.
Why does it also strongly reduce bad smells?
Because ozone molecules quickly bind to those of organic and inorganic substances present in the air, on surfaces and in tissues, oxidizing and eradicating their cause.
How do germicidal UV-C rays work?
UV-C rays (100-280 nm) have a strong germicidal effect and are most effective at the 265 nm wavelength. The germicidal effect of UV-C radiation extends to bacteria, viruses, spores, fungi, molds and mites; it is due to the destructive effect exerted by UV-C radiation on their DNA.
Which microorganisms are eliminated by UV-C rays?
Bacteria, viruses, spores, fungi, molds and mites; they are all sensitive to UV-C radiation and are eliminated from them.
What are the minimum times of exposure to UV-C rays to eliminate microbes?
Each bacterium, virus, yeast, mold or mite needs a different UV-C dose for its inactivation or elimination, but to provide an idea of the intervention times we can say that they serve as fractions of a second to a few seconds.
